Hi, I'm Christopher. I'm 25 years old and I started making YouTube videos more than 10 years ago. Nowadays, I create YouTube videos and do livestreams on Twitch. My favorite platform is YouTube since I started out there and grew up with it. But in the last few years I also discovered Twitch for me as a great way to interact with my viewers and to give them a closer look into my life and also into my work.
My content is gaming and I started my career with Let's Plays and Yugioh videos. Today my main focus is on Pokemon challenge runs of all sorts: original games, rom hacks, fan games, One-Pokemon-Runs, Nuzlocks and more. I always try to find new ways to make the games interesting both for new players as well as players that grew up with the game and are looking for a way to experience these games in a new way.
2. What is your content vertical?
3. What prompted you to start creating video content?
Gaming has always been my hobby and with making videos I found a creative way to share my hobby with others. I'm very fortunate that I was able to turn my hobby into my job and can keep sharing my love for gaming with everyone.
4. What are your top tips for those who want to start their social media career?
You have to find your own niche and find a way to stand out from everyone else, something that makes you unique. But you also have to love what you're doing, because otherwise you will not find the motivation to keep going even if it seems like you are not succeeding. Success doesn't come overnight, you have to work hard on it and have patience.
5. What campaigns have you been a part of?
The campaigns I have been a part of were Raid Shadow Legends, Hero Wars, Mech Arena, Genshin Impact, Friends and Dragons, Call of Antia and Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas.
6. What was your favorite campaign or brand to work with to date?
My favorite Campaign was with Genshin Impact. It's an amazing game and I am very happy that I was part of this campaign.
7. What's the brand you'd love to work with?
I love working with gaming companies in general and introduce my viewers to a wide range of games, so there is actually no specific brand that I could name.
8. What challenges have you faced with content creation and how have you resolved them?
I think the biggest challenge for any content creator is the algorithm. Nobody really knows how it works, so there is very little you can do to control it. You can have a great video that you have put a lot of effort into and everyone who watches the videos loves it, but sometimes the algorithms just doesn't recommend it to anyone, so most of the viewers don't even get a chance to see it. This can be really frustrating, but there is not really anything you can do besides keep giving it your best and try to make every video special and worth watching.
9. How's your experience working with HypeFactory?
Everyone I worked with thus far is really great! They are really nice and always support me during the campaigns and give their all for a smooth cooperation.
10. Who do you look up to in content creation world?
I follow a lot of different content creators with a lot of different types of videos, but I could not really single one out that I look up to. I think it's always best to have a wide range of influences to surround yourself with and draw inspiration from instead of singling one out.
